Life at a small school is definitely different than that of a bigger school. There are schools in Venezuela like the International Christian School - Caracas (ISC-C) or the Colegio Internacional de Caracas (CIC) that are less than 200 students. And there are schools like Rizal High School (RHS) in the Philippines that have over 15,000 students.

Finally I see hope in the distance. There is a bus with a red sign on it; I might actually make it on time to school! I have hope, but I had to go through a lot before arriving to this point. It all begins at home at four thirty in the morning while the street was still pitch dark.

My tears fell down my cheeks as I stood in disbelief thinking about what had just happened. During Christmas break of 2011, my family, friends and my teacher Mr. Shuflin decided to go see the intriguing“Black Lake” located in Merida, Venezuela. It gets its name from the dark waters that are impossible to see through. We were all excited to go, not because of the lake itself but because of the horses!
